NATIVE
EYEWEAR - DASH XP

This modular
pair of sunglasses tops our chart for law enforcement
officials who need to multi-task. Found in our
Police Glasses and Sunglasses category is a company
Native, and they are making competitors very worried with
their new DASH XP line of sunglasses. The glasses
offer a number of lenses, and they can be switched out in
moments giving police officers time to focus on the task at
hand rather than police gear.
The NATIVE folks label the lenses that have
a slight reflection to them "reflex" which may help
individuals sort out what type of finish they want when
purchasing. Below are photos of two different colors
in the "reflex" finish (copper reflex, and blue reflex).

We were
pleasantly surprised when the glasses arrived because they
come in a robust carrying case that protects the structure
of the frame when tossed in a bag or wherever you might
leave your glasses. Inside the case the sunglasses are
protected by an additional bag / cleaning cloth which came
in useful on more than one occasion during our testing.
Where the fun really began is when we
switched the lenses out to the copper reflex, and again to
clear. It seemed that no matter what the environment
we were subjected to the Native Dash XP stepped up to the
plate in superb fashion.
Another attribute we found with the glasses
is the replacement factor. If you scratch or break a
pair of lenses, they can be replaced without having to toss
them in the trash. The company will send out just the
lenses and you can swap them into the frame in about 30
seconds. At the time of the test the sunglasses
retailed for 129.99 and having tested a number of brands we
can attest this pair is worth every penny.
