TRIJICON - SRS OPTIC

Trijicon is known to a manufacturer of some of the toughest optics in the market.  They are set to release another show stopper and the SRS optic (shown above) offers a number of features shooters have been requesting for years.  The unit runs on a combined power system and and in some instances can run for four or five years without replacing the battery.

The panel on the top of the optic is solar so if the optic can utilize the sun to power the dot, it will avoid using power.  If the unit is unable to gather sunlight it draws on a single AA battery for power.  This is the nicest feature we have seen in a combat optic and using just the power of the AA battery the unit is expected to run for nearly two years.

If that were not enough for you, the quick connect system is designed to allow the optic to be returned to calibration if it is taken of and returned to the same rail mark.  We have yet to shoot this optic, but expect to have one in our hands very shortly so stay tuned.
