Timex E-Tide Temp Compass

The law enforcement industry loves to abuse police gear.  We seem to subject gear to the harshest conditions, so the bar is set very high when searching for functional items.  Timex has certainly outdone themselves with this highly functional and appealing watch (Model T49709).

We have been testing the watch for a few weeks and have grown to love its practical design.  The hands are very easy to read, large, and are offset by the black backing.  The watch serves very well as a tactical timepiece and does not give away a position by flashy chrome or reflective material. 

The watch looks like a metal band, but the material is composite, and has a hard rubbery feel to it. 

As an added bonus the watch comes with a compass that worked very well when tested.  Since the compass is a different color you do not get confused like many other watches when trying to reference time in a hurry.  The date is very simple and straight forward.  Setting and using this watch was simple, and we are certainly impressed by the caliber of craftsmanship.  When searching the web we found the watch to be priced from $125.00 to $200.00, and we certainly considered it a worthy investment.  For more information visit Timex at http://www.timex.com/Timex-E-Tide-Temp-Compass/dp/B001EYPB46
