Where we really see these boots excelling is for the officers who know they will spend a shift knee deep in s#@$.  We mean snow of course, or rain or mud for that fact.  These boots are an excellent choice for those horrible drifts or extended exposure to the elements.  They are all black which meet the requirement for most police departments, and we were able to tuck the boots under both polyester uniform pants, and cargo pants worn on patrol. 

Traction in the boots is awesome and you are very suprised they are a slip on type boot without laces when tracking across any given landscape.  One thing to note is the boots only come in whole sizes so try them on if you can to ensure they fit properly.
