TOUGHMUDDER - 10 DAYS AWAY

Our team is just gearing up for our first public appearance at
the ToughMudder Event on November 21st in New Jersey.
We figured flames, barb wire, swampy water, and people
running for their lives would be the most appropriate way to
make a debut.

The Toughmudder event is quickly living up to its claim of
being "probably the toughest event on the planet", and the
crew intends to help people push their personal limits in
unconventional methods.
Since its inception people have showed up in nothing more
than a banana hammock, or have gone the distance in a full
suit. If you are novice like ourselves you might opt
for running gear for the maiden voyage because there is a
good chance something may get torn, bloody, or at the very
least soaked in mud.
Aside from some of the
characters at Toughmudder, we are thrilled to find a
function that focuses on
achieving obstacles through the use of team work and
creativity.
While most television shows create ratings by encouraging
cut throat tactics, and deceit. Toughmudder seems to believe
there is still hope in teamwork and endorses the principle
at every opportunity.

We figured it would be a great stomping ground for us to
abuse some police gear, take some great photos, and roll around in the
mud. On our list of items will be a Montague Paratrooper Bike to help catch some photos
before and after the event, Tru-Spec pants, Columbia
fleeces, EMS thermals, Gore-tex clothing, Altama, Rocky,
Danner, and Bates Boots, SOG knives, Camelbaks, and a
laundry list of other items that have proven effective for
the law enforcement and tactical community.
Perhaps one of the most notable companies of the bunch that
will be supplying gear is GORUCK (Jason McCarthy is the
founder and prior special forces operator). After
making contact with Jason we quickly realized why his
company is making such an impact in the tactical bag market.
GORUCK stands behind their bags with steadfast conviction,
and just to show how durable the bags are the GORUCK team
and a few Green Berets will be completing the obstacle
course with a GORUCK bag full of bricks!
We plan to do updated reviews of each product and show how
we violated them during the Toughmudder event....now if we
can just figure out how to fill the Camelbak's with beer for
after party.
