The Streamlight Waypoint Portable LED Spotlight (shown above) is a pistol grip spotlight featuring three light modes of high, low, and strobe.  The LED light can be powered by either four C batteries or a 12 volt power cord (which is also included). 

Using batteries the light will run for eight hours on high, and 120 hours in low or signal mode.  When plugged into the 12v adapter the light has unlimited runtime.  On high the light produces an impressive 200 lumens, and a conservative 20 lumens on low.
