In addition to testing police gear in an actual law enforcement setting, we also can be found in many different venues like the Las Vegas SHOT SHOW, Florida's FLEET EXPO, all the way up to the Connecticut S.W.A.T. Challenge. 

We do this to hopefully bring our readers the latest and greatest police gear, tactics, and pricing.  At this particular S.W.A.T. challenge we had a chance to see some of the most well trained tactical teams from NY, CT, and throughout the region.

S.W.A.T. challenges allow tactical teams to deploy their skills in a controlled environment and often adds timed events and physical activities as a method of inoculating stress into the situation.  Tremor's were regularly felt during the day as flash bang explosions, smoke, and heavy weapon fire erupted as tactical officers surgically made their way through the days events.

A number of local and national vendors were on site and among them was the Tact1.Net team.  They specialize in providing state of the art tactics at their "Shoot House" where operators can step outside the normal range activities to sharpen their skill set.  Vertex clothing systems were also a hot commodity and seemed to have a crowd hovering around their booth setup. 

Some unique vehicles were also found and we will roll out some footage, specifications, and links in weeks to come.  Overall the challenge was an awesome experience and illustration that officers representing agencies of all sizes can come together, refine tactics, network, and help provide a safer community for their respective towns, cities, or county.
